Has anyone heard how SCS weathered the storm?

I hope every one at South coast faired the storm. Please post if you have any knowledge of the results of Ike. Will we ever sail out of Kemah again.

I was down there yesterday. The building that holds their office was a complete disaster and condemned. They've moved operations across the street. Lucy seems to be in good spirits, but if any club members can go help out with recovery, I'm sure they would welcome the help. I spent about an hour taping windows for painting. All the boats had some kind of cosmetic damage, but for the most part all faired pretty well considering the magnitude of the storm.

I think the club will survive this just fine.
