Harvest Moon Regatta

The annual Harvest Moon Regatta event has grown from just under 20 boats to over 200—and we are proud of our South Coast Sailing Adventures teams who have placed in the top 3 winners for their class over the years! The 150-nautical mile race begins at the Pleasure Pier in Galveston and follows the Texas coast to Port Aransas over the course of 2 days and 2 nights, when the night sky is dominated by the beautiful harvest moon! Certifications available: ASA 103, 104, 106, 114

Tentative Schedule

Wednesday, 10/16 - 9:00 AM Check-in, crew briefing,

provisioning, regatta safety requirements

Thursday, 10/17 - Race begins 2:00 PM in front of Pleasure Pier

Friday, 10/18 - Time TBD - Arrival in Port A.

Saturday, 10/19 - Banquet, Awards

Sunday, 10/20 - Depart Port A. (ASA 103/104 Combo or ASA 114) by boat or book a return trip by bus from Port A. to Lakewood Yacht Club

Wednesday, 10/23 - Arrival, Seabrook Marina
